Tonight they started to bother me. Subscription solicitation for Le Journal de Montreal sounds logic since they call us at this time each year.
The man offered me a subscription package for "Le Journal de Montréal", wich is published in Quebec, Canada. I was supposed to have it delivered for free until the next Sunday, and then get a rebate for 6 months on my subscription. He told me ONLY HE could offer me the possibility to pay by pre-autorized direct debit, and that he had to get my bank account informations for doing so. He INSISTED that the call was ABSOLUTELY SECURE and that the information would never be given to anyone else... Yeah, sure!!!!!!!!
He was very persistent. At the beginning of the call, he was giggling. I dismissed it at first, thinking that everybody has the right to - maybe - be speaking with a co-worker and having a little chuckle. I thought it was a bit unprofessional, though. Now I know : he was probably laughing at the poor sucker he just caught!!!

Some rude telemarketers. I've tried getting off of these lists, etc...nothing works.
